Want to Volunteer on our next mission?

January 10-19, 2020

Escape winter and engage in a life-changing experience through the YMCA’s international service and immersion trip to Chile. We will spend the week serving underprivileged children, youth and adults in Valparaiso, Chile. In that same week, we’ll get a first-hand experience in the Chilean culture; its people, unique places, food, and life along the Pacific port of Valparaiso.

Service opportunities include everything from light construction, repairs, beautification of the local YMCA and the George Williams School, serving meals to the homeless, and leading activities for the urban youth at a camp in the mountains. An important part of our trip will be to immerse ourselves in the culture by visiting important historical and cultural sites in the World Heritage city of Valparaiso, as well as visiting Vina del Mar, the ConCon Dunes, and more.

Learn about the international YMCA and how it serves the city’s urban youth and families. You will build sustainable relationships with team members and the people and communities in Valparaiso, Chile.

community? Then the Y’s Community Garden may just be the right fit for you! You
can help by serving as a volunteer in this community project. We need volunteers
