Prerequisite: 150-yard swim leading into a 2 minute tread followed by an additional 50 yard swim, and a timed swim that includes retrieval of a 10-pound brick.

Course Schedule: Friday April 10th, 4-8pm, Saturday April 11th, 8am-5pm, Sunday April 12th, 9am-4pm.

*Participants must attend all class times to receive full lifeguard certification.
*Online portion to be completed before start of class.
*Participation fee may be waived after 3 months of employment.

Learn how to safely care for infants and children in this hands-on training designed for youth ages 11–17. Participants will gain skills in child care, first aid, emergency response, and behavior management. The course also covers babysitting safety, responsibility, and how to start babysitting as a job. Certification is awarded upon completion.

Please note- Participants will not be certified in First Aid and CPR as an additional certification must be obtained. Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED classes are available HERE (must be 14 years of age or older).

After taking this class, you will have the knowledge and skills needed to be a safe, responsible, and successful babysitter.

Designed for kids ages 8–10, this workshop helps build independence and confidence by teaching how to stay safe when home alone. Participants will learn safety basics, how to handle emergencies, set boundaries, and respond to strangers or unexpected situations.

**Bring food/snack/drink needed to get through this class time.

This is a Red Cross lay responder class in which you will learn cpr, aed, and first aid skills for adults, infants, and children. Upon successful completion of course, you will receive a certification valid for 2 years.
