We’re counting down the days to our Y’s 100th birthday on June 26th with a series of drawings and challenges!

Weekly Challenge Fun!

Each week, we’re rolling out a new, fun challenge inspired by Y program areas—all tied to the number 100 in honor of our anniversary!

Here’s how it works:

  • Pick up a weekly challenge sheet from the 100 anniversary table in the lobby near Member Services. (All ages welcome)
  • Complete the challenge and turn in your completed form to Member Services to earn an entry into a weekly prize drawing.
  • Those who finish also score a bonus entry into our ongoing Y swag bundle giveaway (details later in this email.)

Week 3: 100 MINUTE STORY TIME CHALLENGE

(April 27–May 3)

Complete 100 minutes of reading this week! (Can be for yourself or reading to someone.)

Record the number of minutes you read each day on a challenge sheet and turn it in to Member Services by May 3rd for a chance to win a $25 gift card to a local bookstore.

Tracking sheets can be picked up at Member Services. Winner will be drawn May 4th.

Y Swag Drawings

Our second drawing for fun Y swag and a $100 Program Credit runs April 13 – May 7th, 2026.

How to enter:

  • Every time you scan in at our Y between now and May 7th, you’ll automatically receive an entry into the drawing.
  • Complete a “Because of the Y…” Card and turn it in to Member Services.
  • Complete the weekly challenge for an extra entry.
