Our Wellness Coaches and Personal Trainers are here to help you get off on the right foot when it comes to your health and wellness. We want to help you become comfortable in our facility and assist you in mapping out an achievable path towards your goals. We will work to give you the tools you need to build a healthy active lifestyle and then encourage you along the way.  Our wellness staff can help tailor to your specific needs with our menu of options.

 

Watertown Area YMCA

WELLNESS CONSULTATION:
A brief consultation will help our fitness staff target the areas of our wellness center to get you started or continue your fitness journey. Schedule your appointment at the front desk.

TEEN WELLNESS ORIENTATIONS: (Ages 10-15)
To ensure safety and proper use of equipment, all youth using the 2nd-floor rooms must wear a wristband indicating they have completed an orientation. Wristbands are picked up at the member service desk.

  • Ages 10-12 can use the cardio and circuit rooms with their parents after an orientation with wellness staff.
  • Ages 13-15 can use the cardio and weight rooms on their own after an orientation with wellness staff.

COACH ME PROGRAM:  (Ages 16+)
Are you a beginner when it comes to fitness? Want to get into shape but don’t know where to start? Our excellent coaching staff will provide you with knowledge and accountability, help you establish a habit of exercising, and encourage you, all in a friendly and non-intimidating way! Participants commit to 3 workouts a week and are introduced to cardiovascular fitness, strength training and flexibility. Call (920) 262-8555 to set up an appointment!

INBODY TESTING: Body Composition Analysis

How do you know where you are going if you’re not sure where you are starting? Get an accurate picture of your body composition to help you target your training to maximize results.

Individual tests:
$15 Y Member
Three tests for $40.

  • Test regularly! See your results over time. Testing every 8-12 weeks is recommended.

 


 

YMCA at Pabst Farms

SMART START:  (Ages 16 & up)
Not sure where to start? Have a conversation with one of our wellness staff members. This 20-30 minute conversation will point you in the right direction. FREE

During this conversation, our staff members will:

  • Learn more about you, why you’ve chosen to the Y for wellness
  • Set smart goals with your coach
  • Learn about Y fitness options including programs and classes
  • Orientation of Wellness Center layout
  • Develop 2 week plan and next steps

TEEN WELLNESS ORIENTATIONS: (Ages 10-15)
Teaches youth and teens how to work out safely and effectively within the Y Wellness Center. It introduces exercise concepts and guidelines, gym etiquette and safety practices.  Once youth have demonstrated the understanding of these concepts they will be able to work out in the Wellness Center without parental supervision.  This may take more than one meeting with a wellness coach.

  • Parent/Youth Wellness Center Orientation: Ages 10-12 can use the cardio and circuit rooms with their parents after an orientation with fitness staff.
  • Teen Wellness Center Orientation: Ages 13-15 can use the cardio and weight areas on their own after an orientation with wellness staff.

WELLNESS CENTER EQUIPMENT ORIENTATION:  (Ages 16 &up)
We understand that walking into a wellness center, with its many types of equipment, can be intimidating. Let us help you! During an orientation, you will learn how to use the cardiovascular and/or strength equipment in our wellness center to increase your health and well-being. Orientations will be one-on-one. FREE

Recharge and refresh your current workout routine. A single appointment with a Wellness Coach to help you schedule a new plan based on your strengths, challenges and goals from the options that the Y offers. FREE for Y Members.
