Special Programs Social Events
Special Programs social events provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities a chance to spend time with old friends, build new relationships, experience a variety of activities, and grow their independence while having some fun at the Y.
Dinner and a Movie - Pabst Farms
Lights, camera, action! Enjoy a night at the Y with your friends! Includes dinner and the viewing of a movie at the YMCA. Movies will be rated PG or PG 13.

Fun Friday - Watertown
Play, laugh, and enjoy time with friends! A night at the YMCA designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Activities can include crafts, games, gym activities and lots of fun with friends! Please register by the Monday prior to the event.
If Watertown registration is too low to run a separate program we will provide transportation to Oconomowoc and join their Fun Friday, please note new times/pricing to accommodate this change.

Night at the Theater
Join us for a night at the theater! Group will travel to local theaters to enjoy the many musicals and plays available in our area.
Friday July 12th Cinderella at the Schauer Center in Hartford (featuring our very own Bocce Assistant Coach – Claire)
Thursday August 22 Finding Nemo at the Waukesha Civic Theater
We will plan to leave the YMCA at 5:30 for each show, we will let you know our approximate return time to the YMCA in your welcome e-mail and at drop off.
Registration fees include admission to the theater, transportation and staff supervision. **This program is not eligible for the use of funding as it includes admission tickets.
Participants may bring money to purchase concessions if they are available during intermission.
