YMCA baseball leagues emphasize fun, teamwork, sportsmanship and inclusion, while encouraging kids to be active – a benefit to them both physically and mentally.

Baseball League: Brooks (9th-12th Grade)

YMCA at Pabst Farms

These leagues are perfect for our older athletes. They will provide a more competitive environment without losing sight of our focus on sportsmanship and fun. Game format and rules are designed to prep players for the next level. Fees include a team jersey and hat. 2-3 nights per week, which include team practices and games, all within the Waukesha County area. Team practices begin end of April, weather permitting. Games start after Memorial Day. For boys completing grades 9-12.

Our volunteer coaches make YMCA youth sports possible and create a lifelong impact on children by encouraging participation and emphasizing sportsmanship.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach, please indicate your interest on registration, we would love to have you join us this season!  As we get closer to the start of the season, we will be in touch with you regarding a coaches’ meeting, season information, and practice resources.

Our recreational leagues are designed to prepare players for the next level. With a focus on expanding players’ game play experience, we use slightly modified rules to support players as they develop and grow. Players start pitching at this level. Fees include a team jersey and hat. 2-3 weeknights per week, which include team practices and games, all within the Waukesha County area. Each league plays 10 games during the season. Team practices begin end of April, weather permitting. Games start after Memorial Day. For boys completing grades 3 & 4.

Our volunteer coaches make YMCA youth sports possible and create a lifelong impact on children by encouraging participation and emphasizing sportsmanship.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach, please indicate your interest on registration, we would love to have you join us this season!  As we get closer to the start of the season, we will be in touch with you regarding a coaches’ meeting, season information, and practice resources.

These leagues are all about learning and growing. Building a solid foundation in a supportive environment is the focus, and all games are played with heavily modified rules designed to support the success of players as they learn about being a part of a team and get a solid grasp of the fundamental skills. For the first two weeks, teams will spend their time together practicing. For the remaining weeks, teams will have a brief warm-up/practice and play a game. Fees include a team shirt. For boys and girls completing 4K & Kindergarten.

For the first two weeks, teams will spend their time together practicing. For the remaining weeks, teams will practice on Tuesdays, and play games on Thursdays. Rotating times each Tuesday and Thursday (5:15-6:30pm OR 6:45pm-8:00pm). Coaches pitch to their own players. Fees include a team shirt. For boys and girls completing 1st & 2nd Grade.
