Endowment Impact: A New Resource for Young Families

This year, the YMCA at Pabst Farms Endowment Board of Trustees approved funding for a new lactation pod in our facility. Located just outside of Kid’s Corner, the pod offers nursing mothers a private, clean, and comfortable environment to care for their babies while remaining connected to Y activities and programs. The space also accommodates young siblings, making it easier for families to enjoy their time at the Y.

The project was funded through the YMCA Endowment Fund’s Seed Grant program, which supports mission-driven projects that enhance Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility. Through the generosity of Endowment donors, annual earnings from the fund are reinvested into innovative initiatives like this one which creating lasting impact for our community.

The Endowment Fund provides an opportunity to support the YMCA’s mission both today and for generations to come. Gifts can be made now or through a future estate gift or bequest, creating a lasting legacy that helps fund scholarships, innovative programs, and emerging community needs well into the future.
