We love our crazy, wacky water days! You will need a swimsuit and towel to participate in many activities. Slip n’ Slide, drip drip splash, water relays and more! This is a great fun way to enjoy the summer warmth and stay active!
All Camp Challenge:
Typically, on Friday afternoons are a time for traditional camp challenges. Meet new friends and work together to complete unique tasks and challenges. These challenges will incorporate our weekly themes.
Field Trips:
Trying new activities and seeing new places is part of the excitement as a camper! Sign up for Tuesdays and Thursday to enjoy traveling with camp in Southeastern Wisconsin. Field trip schedule will be posted to the website. Some of our favorites include:
- Fox Brook Park
- Retzer Nature Center
- Shalom Nature Center
- Horicon Marsh
- Henry Villas Zoo
- Little Amerricka
- And more!
Camp Swimming:
Throughout the summer, Lake Country Campers will head to local guarded pools and parks to go swimming as scheduled on the field trip schedule each week. If there is in-climate weather, the trip will be canceled and campers will remain at Camp with other planned activities.
Swim Tests: To ensure safety, all campers will be swim tested during their first swim trip. Passing the swim test provides them access to swim in deeper water areas that are supervised by our Y’s lifeguards and Camp staff. In order to easily identify campers who have passed the swim test and to ensure the highest level of safety, we will give everyone a necklace to indicate swim ability (beginner or advanced). Campers will also have opportunities across the summer to retake the swim test.
