Trips leave from the YMCA at Pabst Farms, but are open to participants from both branches.

All Access Trip Descriptions:

(Ages 12 & up)

NIGHT FISHING: We’ll cast off to catch the biggest fish on Okauchee Lake! This trip is not wheelchair accessible but is appropriate for those using walkers or who can walk for short periods of time.

MILWAUKEE ZOO TRIP: ** Spend a day at the Milwaukee County Zoo.

DEER AND LUMBERJACKS: A trip to the Wisconsin Dells Deer Park where you will see lots of deer and see the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack show.  ** We will provide a late lunch and participants may purchase concessions at the Lumberjack show, we will not provide dinner

KOHL CENTER & CAMP RANDALL: Enjoy a day touring the Wisconsin Badger’s Sports facilities.

MADISON ZOO TRIP: Spend a day at the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison.

GO PACK GO: Enjoy a tour of Lambeau field and then explore the history of the Packers at the Hall of Fame.

MILWAUKEE MILKMEN GAME:  Cheer on Milwaukee’s newest professional baseball team playing in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball. 

BREWERS GAME: ** Spend the day cheering on the Brewers!

SHALOM NATURE CENTER: A trip to Shalom will include 100 acres of wildlife excitment!

LAZER TAG/MINI GOLF: A morning of Lazer Tag and and afternoon filled with mini golf all in beautiful Madison. 
* Warning: Flashing lights at lazer tag may cause seizures.

TIMBER RATTLERS: Let’s watch the Milwaukee Brewer’s minor league team play ball in the beautiful Fox Cities Stadium.

CRANES AND BARABOO ZOO:   Learn all about cranes at the International Crane Foundation and then experience over 30 different animal species at this quaint city zoo. 

HAY RIDE/ FISHING: A half-day trip to our local Zachariah’s Acres. We will tour their land in a hay wagon and fish from the accessible fishing pier.

CIRCUS WORLD MUSEUM: Spend a day under the big top in Baraboo, WI.

JELLY BELLY AND KENOSHA MUSEUM: We will get to learn the history and how they make Jelly Bellies during our factory tour.  In the afternoon we will explore history and science at the Kenosha museum.  

NATIONAL TRAIN MUSEUM: Experience all different kinds of trains and enjoy a train ride around the museum.

LEGALLY BLONDE AT THE PALACE THEATER: Enjoy lunch and then sit back to watch as Elle Woods defies expectations and stays true to her delightfully pink personality.  

EAA: Spend the day at one of the most extensive aviation attractions. See more than 200 histroic planes and get “hands-on” in the KidVenture Gallery.  

CINDERELLA AT THE FIRESIDE THEATRE: Spend a day at the Fireside Theatre for some fine dining and a great show –CINDERELLA!

DEVOE FAMILY FARM AND NATIONAL HISTORIC CHEESEMAKING CENTER: Enjoy the morning at the family farm and the afternoon learning about the art of cheesemaking.  

DODGE COUNTY FAIR: A day at the Fair, enjoy farm animals and some fun fair rides. 

Adventure Trip Descriptions:

(Ages 14 & up)

ACTION TERRITORY: Bumper Cars, Lazer Tag, Bumper Boats, and Mini Golf

ROAD AMERICA: Get up close and personal with Indy cars and their drivers.  

CANOE ADVENTURE: Get ready for a 7-10 mile canoe experience on Mirror Lake, followed by hiking, a picnic lunch and swimming!

MOUNT OLYMPUS WATER & THEME PARK: Water slides and coasters. Fun for everyone!

NOAH’S ARK: America’s Largest Waterpark!

CAVE OF THE MOUNDS: Explore this geologic wonder found right here in Wisconsin! Learn about stalactites and stalagmites as you explore underground.  

Some trips are accessible to all; others require ability to pass a swim test and hike over rough terrain.

*There will be a $5 administrative fee added to each trip for anyone registering using an outside funding source (IRIS, Children’s Long-Term Supper Waiver, etc.)

Explorer Camp:

(Ages 14 & up)

Hiking the bluffs, swimming, fishing, campfire songs, stories...and great food! Get ready for THE experience of your summer! Join us to explore Devil’s Lake State Park.

Taking place at Devil’s Lake State Park  Explorers Camp provides a rustic, outdoor education experience unlike any other. Campers must pass a swim test, be independent in direct personal care needs and have the ability to hike and explore the park.
