We can't wait to see you again, but in the meantime, we have several virtual/at home options in place to keep you and your family active and healthy. We will continue to add to this page as new options become available.

Virtual Workout Options

We know that staying fit and active is our best way to build a strong immune system and stay healthy. The Y has several virtual options to help keep you active and working out at home during our COVID-19 closing.

Midfield Bible Study

Join us for a study of selected Bible passages to provide encouragement in these days of solitude.  This is usually a men’s study group, however, during the stay-at-home orders we are welcoming anyone interested. The study lasts for an hour each week and includes prayer, discussion and study of Scripture. Meets Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:30 AM.

Contact Bruce Osborn, Director of Spiritual Development, at bosborn@glcymca.org for more information or to be added to the virtual meeting.

Virtually Whole

In this stay-at-home COVID-19 pandemic, we all have faced feelings and emotions that may have come as a surprise to us. It’s been easy to take care of our physical selves with walks, bike rides, or just getting outside for some fresh air. But what about our spirit and mind? At the Y, we’re all about Spirit, Mind, and Body, and we want to engage these areas that may be neglected in this difficult season.

Join us for Virtually Whole - a virtual group chat with our Director of Spiritual Development, Bruce Osborn. In these online chats, we will provide time for participants to share feelings and emotions which keep you from living well in this difficult season. Each chat will feature a topic of conversation, guided questions for reflection, Scripture and prayer for encouragement. Sessions will last up to one hour.

Two day/time options to choose from beginning the week of April 27th:  Mondays, 7:00-8:00 PM or Tuesdays, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM

If you are interested in joining one of the times offered, or have questions, please email Bruce Osborn at bosborn@glcymca.org.
